Chantal Matar is a Lebanese-British architectural designer, generative artist, and educator working at the intersection of AI, immersive media, and architecture. She is the founder of Studio Chantal Matar Ltd., an independent architecture practice dedicated to crafting atmospheric worlds that merge digital aesthetics with built experience.

Her immersive and AI architecture work have been featured by Bloomberg, Forbes, and international design media. Beyond the screen, her work has been exhibited widely, including the Venice Biennale (2023), Galerie Fractal, Paris (2021–2023), Anthropocene AV, Berlin (2022), Future Galerie, Chicago (2022), the 30 Seconds Museum, Tokyo (2022), and the Brick Lane Gallery, London (2020). These installations and exhibitions establish her practice at the convergence of art, architecture, and advanced computation.

Chantal worked as a Lead Architectural Designer at Zaha Hadid Architects, where she contributed to landmark international projects before founding her own studio. Today, she lectures and leads workshops globally, with recent engagements at MIT (2024), EPFL (2024), UCL Bartlett (2020-2021), NYU Shanghai (2025), the China Academy of Arts, Hangzhou (2025), Université Côte d’Azur, Nice (2025), Smart City Expo Barcelona (2023), GITEX Global Dubai (2024), and Arc Middle East, Muscat (2025).

Her practice investigates generative morphologies, computational design, and immersive installations, asking how architecture can evolve beyond static form into experiences that breathe, shift, and adapt with time, culture, and technology.
