The Horizon Villa

The Horizon Villa explores radical tectonics, where concrete planes fracture and cantilever to create a dynamic dialogue between architecture and landscape. Designed as both a retreat and a sculptural object, the villa merges structural boldness with expansive spatial fluidity. Its deconstructed geometries frame panoramic views while maintaining intimacy and atmosphere within. The project reflects Chantal Matar’s pursuit of architecture as an immersive, living environment, a seamless intersection of art, design, and habitation.

The Hieroglyphic Villa

The Hieroglyphic Villa reimagines ancient Egyptian symbology through a contemporary lens, embedding history into the very surfaces of its architecture. Monumental walls inscribed with hieroglyphs transform into living tapestries of stone, where past narratives meet modern spatial luxury. The design bridges millennia, allowing mythology, ritual, and cultural memory to coexist with futuristic materiality and atmosphere. It is both sanctuary and statement, a home inscribed with time itself.

The Kintsugi Villa

The Kintsugi Villa is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of golden repair, where breakage and imperfection become sources of beauty. Set within a dramatic landscape, the villa’s fractured stone walls and gilded seams recall tectonic forces reimagined as architecture. Its interiors continue this narrative, with veined surfaces and luminous fissures that transform cracks into glowing pathways of light. The design proposes a home as both sanctuary and metaphor: a place where architecture embodies resilience, healing, and elegance born from imperfection.
